A word about the Joe & Charlie Big Book Study Recordings.
In June 2003 Upper Room Communications was granted exclusive rights to record the Red Deer 2003 Big Book Study featuring world renowned AA speakers Joe & Charlie sharing their unique presentation of the first 164 pages of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. Because Joe and Charlie had presented what was called the "Final" Big Book Study four years earlier in 1999, we entitled this recording the "Red Deer Big Book Study Revisited 2003 by Charlie & Joe". While Joe and Charlie were their usual enlightening and entertaining selves, what was different from the previous 4 times we recorded the Joe & Charlie Big Book Study,(1992, 1995, 1997, 1999) was the technology Upper Room Communications had progressed to: the ability to record digitally and produce CD copies on the spot. Although extremely simple compared to our current sophisticated setup, we were able to capture every nuance and subtlety of Joe & Charlie's AA message with crystal clarity.
